SP Lokender Singh said the accused had been identified as Nempal of Kabri village, adding that a person from the Old Industrial police station area came to the SP office and gave a complaint in which he said a case of gang-rape, abduction of a minor girl and threat to kill was registered against his nephews at the police station on October 22.

After two-three days of the registration of the case, Nempal of Kabri, along with his wife, came to him and demanded money for making a compromise in the case. But he refused to give money to him. Following this, he threatened them with dire consequences for not giving money to him. After that, they agreed to give money to him.

Nempal came to the office of a property dealer on October 31 and demanded Rs 1 crore for compromise in the case, but the deal was finalised for Rs 45 lakh, and they gave money to him. But he again started demanding Rs 5 lakh more from them and threatened them that he would not cancel the case.
