He said, “The Congress failed to provide details of economic losses incurred by the state due to the appointment of CPS, which was done to adjust friends in the government. As these appointments were unconstitutional, they had to resign.” “The people will not forget how the state treasury was burdened as crores of rupees have been spent on them,” added Thakur, while addressing the front organisations at Baddi.
“The BJP is preparing for the next Vidhan Sabha elections. Our workers will corner the Congress on every anti-people policy,” said the former CM.
Conveners of front organisations were briefed on how the BJP works with every segment of society and how the cells would work in the 2027 Assembly poll.
BJP state president Dr Rajeev Bindal said, “The Congress has failed to appoint its official body even after year and it appears that the entire party is operating on an ad-hoc basis.” He said, “The BJP has entered election mode. Through this workshop, we have developed a strategy to corner the Congress at every booth after completing training for all newly appointed workers and leaders.”
He criticised the Congress for propagating lies and said they had defrauded all sections of the state before coming to power and have not fulfilled a single promise to date.
He termed the state government and its allies as a “gang of thugs”. “There is speculation that this government is preparing to discontinue the Sahara scheme.” He added that the “BJP will work on all 8,000 booths, promoting PM Narendra Modi’s welfare policies while also exposing the anti-people policies of the Congress”.
