BJP state president Rajeev Bindal today said that the rally at Dharamsala on December 18 would coincide with the first day of the winter session of the Vidhan Sabha. The Zorawar Stadium, where the rally was planned, was close to the Vidhan Sabha building.

Bindal, while addressing mediapersons, expressed unhappiness over the Congress’ function held at Bilaspur on December 11 to celebrate two years in office. He said that the government had no achievement worth mentioning in its two-year rule.

Bindal blamed the organisers of the event at Bilaspur for the use of a foul language, particularly for national BJP president JP Nadda, who hails from Bilaspur where the so-called ‘jashan’ was held.

He said that the state government should have shown gratitude to the Centre for the construction of AIIMS at Bilaspur and the Kiratpur Sahib four-lane highway. Earlier, Bindal chaired a meeting to formulate a strategy to counter the government on December 18.
