Pratibha said that the Congress would take feedback from every section of society, be it government employees, farmers, fruit growers, women or youth so that their long-pending demands and issues could figure in the manifesto.
“Besides the issue of restoration of the old pension scheme, the Congress will try and include all issues concerning people in the manifesto so that their problems could be addressed,” she said.
Shandil said the manifesto was not being prepared sitting in a room but after travelling across the state to take feedback from the public. “The screening committee will shortlist the issues after due deliberation so that the manifesto can give voice to the sentiments of the people of the state,” he said.
Agnihotri said the Congress manifesto would be adopted as a policy document and it would be implemented on coming to power. “The Congress remains committed to its promise of restoring the old pension scheme as had been done by its governments in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand,” he stated.
Agnihotri dismissed the talk of factionalism and bickering in the Congress. “We are all united and one in our fight against the BJP. Our slogan will be Sarkar Badlo, Haal Badlo,” he said.
