Policies and programs initiated towards the welfare of SC and ST communities by the Narendra Modi government were discussed at the meeting and a resolution was passed to propagate these at the grassroots level, particularly among people of SC and ST communities.

Addressing morcha members at the meeting, Chandel said the Congress had always used SC and ST communities as vote bank rather than working for their development. He added that these communities were now distancing themselves from the Congress.
