BJP state president Rajeev Bindal yesterday alleged that the Congress won two byelections by misusing the government machinery, intimidating candidates and people and distributing liquor. Leader of the Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, however, said that the BJP had accepted the mandate and would introspect to find out its shortcomings in the byelections.
