The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board has postponed the second round of counselling for admission to the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) course (2025–27) due to heavy rainfall and landslides across the state.

The board officials said that the counselling was earlier scheduled from August 28 to September 1 but in view of disrupted transportation and communication services, the process had been deferred in public interest. The fresh dates for the counselling would be notified separately, the board said in an official statement. Candidates had been advised to regularly check the official website or contact the board’s helpline at 01892-242192 for updates.
