The two-day event, held on the university’s picturesque campus, brought together students, faculty and distinguished guests in a spirited display of talent, innovation and institutional pride.
The festivities commenced with a ceremonial lamp-lighting and a warm address by Er SK Punj, Chancellor, who reflected on SSU’s journey since its inception and its commitment to fostering academic excellence and holistic development. Er Tushar Punj (Pro-Chancellor) also congratulated all on this day. Dr Zahid Ali, Vice-Chancellor, delivered a speech, emphasising the university’s role in shaping future leaders and innovators.
Prof VP Patial, Dean Academics’, delivered the welcome address on the occasion. He urged students to embrace creativity and resilience as they contribute to society. The star performers, Kumar Sahil (famous Bollywood singer, Indian Idol fame and alumni of university) and Ishant Bhardwaj, mesmerised the students and other audience with their songs and urged them to pursue excellence while staying rooted in values.
“Srijan- ABHVYAKTI- 2025” was a dazzling showcase of student talent, featuring a blend of cultural performances and competitive events. From dance and music performances to thought-provoking skits and art displays, the fest highlighted the creative prowess of SSU’s students.
