The Dalai Lama will leave Dharamsala on January 3 for the Bylakuppe Tibetan Settlement in Karnataka.
According to his schedule, the Dalai Lama is expected to stay at Bylakuppe till Losar, the Tibetan New Year in March next year. He would spend the winter months of January and February in Bylakuppe.

Tomorrow, the Dalai Lama will attend a prayer offering to him at his main temple in McLeodganj in the afternoon. The Tibetans and other followers have been organising prayer offerings for long and healthy life of the Dalai Lama.
The Dalai Lama will turn 90 next year and there have been growing concerns regarding his health and incarnation among the Tibetan community in exile in India.
