Dalhousie town received the first heavy snowfall of the season last evening. The snowfall was recorded from one to four feet at varying locations, including Dalhousie town, Lakkarmandi, Kalatop and Dainkund, official reports arriving here today stated.

Consequently, stakeholders of the tourism industry as well as visitors were elated. The visitors enjoyed playing with the snow at Gandhi Chowk and Subhash Chowk on Monday. —OC
