Sirmaur Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Verma has officially notified the delimitation of Zila Parishad constituencies ahead of the 2025 general elections for Panchayati Raj institutions. The list has been made available for public scrutiny.

According to the notification, any objections or suggestions from the general public regarding the delimitation of Zila Parishad wards may be submitted in writing to the Sirmaur DC, within seven days of the notification’s issuance.

DC Verma said the delimitation list can be accessed at the offices of the Sub-Divisional Magistrates in Nahan, Paonta Sahib, Sangrah, Shillai, Kaffota, Pachhad and Rajgarh. It is also available at the offices of the District Panchayat Officer, all Block Development Officers and all gram panchayats across the district.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
