The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)-run Directorate of Mushroom Research (DMR) here was conferred the Rajarshi Tondon Award for implementing Hindi in small institutes’ category during the 92nd virtual foundation day and award ceremony of the ICAR organised at Krishi Bhavan, Delhi, last evening.

On the occasion, vitamin D-rich mushroom-millet cookies developed by the ICAR-DMR, Solan, and Indian Institute of Millets Research, Hyderabad, in a collaborative project were released. The ICAR Awards in 20 different categories were announced on the occasion, said institute director Dr VP Sharma. — TNS
