The BJP legislators, namely Vipin Parmar, Hans Raj and Vinod Kumar, could be heard threatening the marshals not to touch Leader of the Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, around whom they had formed a protective ring in the House. Meanwhile, Naina Devi MLA Randhir Sharma felt uneasy and a doctor was summoned to attend to him.

Thakur asked the marshals to provide a copy of the suspension orders, which were provided to all 15 MLAs. He said that the BJP MLAs had been suspended only to pass the Budget though the government did not have the majority. The Speaker then adjourned the House sine die.
