Students of Doon Valley Public School, Nalagarh, delivered an outstanding performance at the 2025 North Zone Karate Championship, organised by the National Karate Federation. The championship, held at Kalka, witnessed the participation of nearly 300 students from Chandigarh, Haryana, Punjab and Delhi. Competing against tough contenders, the young athletes of Doon Valley made their mark with an impressive medal haul.

In the under-12 category, Rishika, Ishita, Aradhya, Diya, and Harman clinched gold medals with their first-place victories. Silver medals went to Mishel Dhiman, Rishika, and Ravneet Kaur, while Harshita, Aradhya Chauhan, Jashndeep Kaur and Parishah earned bronze medals for securing third place.

The under-14 category also saw a strong showing. Arshita bagged a gold medal, while Ankita Rana, Vrinda, Lavjeet, and Parth Bhardwaj won silver. Prakriti Tripathi and Moksh Ratna added to the tally with bronze medals.
