Dr Karanjeet Singh of Manali has been appointed as the Chairman of the Medical Commission of the Boxing Federation of India.

Hemanta Kumar Kalita, secretary general of the federation, entrusted Dr Karanjeet with the responsibility yesterday.

He is working with the Health Department for the past many years. — TNS
