‘Magic of Indian Weddings: Timeless Traditions Sacred Customs’, third book written by Dr Kiran Chadha, an author, poet and former bureaucrat, was released at Fortune Park here in the presence of Dr Sampadanand Mishra, a Sanskrit scholar from Rishihood University, Sonepat, and local MLA Asha Kumari on July 3.

Chamba Deputy Commissioner DC Rana and Dalhousie SDM Jagan Thakur were the guests of honour. Gagandeep from Mumbai presented a Tanora Sufi dance.

The book is an exhaustive research work on every aspect of Indian weddings, both religion-wise and region-wise, other than Sikh, Jain, Christian and Muslim marriages.
