Dr Pavnesh Kumar was sworn in as a Member of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) at a formal ceremony held at Raj Bhavan, Shimla on Saturday.

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla administered the oath of office and secrecy to Dr Kumar. Lady Governor Janaki Shukla was also present at the ceremony.

The proceedings were conducted by CP Verma, Secretary to the Governor.

The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Rameshwar Singh Thakur, Chairman of HPPSC; PS Rana, Chairman of the State Human Rights Commission; CB Barowalia, Lokayukta; Anup Kumar Rattan, Advocate General; and other prominent personalities.
