Mandi, November 16

To end the drug menace in Mandi and Kullu, the administration of both districts have launched a massive awareness campaign for one month from November 15 to December 15. During the period, the campaign will be organised in villages to make people aware about the ill-effects of drug abuse.

Joining hands to wipe out social evil

  • Palampur: The Dhauladhar Seva Samiti, along with hundreds of students of various colleges and schools, took out an awareness rally against drug abuse

    here on Saturday.

  • The march began from the Rotary Bhavan and culminated at the Gandhi ground, where several speakers highlighted the ills of drugs, urging the youth to stayaway from the evil.

  • Carrying placards, the samiti members urged youngsters to stay

    away from drugs. oc

Additional District Magistrate, Mandi, Shrawan Manta flagged off a rally on Friday and urged people to take active part in the campaign. Awareness camps will be organised in schools and colleges.
