Drug racket kingpin held

The police arrested drug racket kingpin Kulvinder Singh from Hoshiarpur in Punjab, and brought him here on Friday. He was wanted in the case of the death of a student of the National Institute of Technology (NIT).

The body of Sujal, an M Tech student, was found in his hostel room on October 23 last year. The investigation pointed towards drug overdose as the cause of death.

SP Bhagat Singh Thakur said that it was found that the drug that Sujal consumed was allegedly procured from Kulvinder.
