‘e-auction of industrial plots soon’

Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan today issued directions for the e-auction of plots in the industrial area of Baddi, industrial estate at Davni and other locations under the HP State Industrial Development Corporation (HPSIDC).

Chauhan, while presiding over a meeting of the Board of Directors of the HPSIDC, said that the step was aimed at enhancing transparency and efficiency in the auction process. He expressed satisfaction over the corporation’s net profit of Rs 10.25 crore in the financial year 2023-24, reflecting the organisation’s continued growth and financial stability.

HPSIDC Managing Director Rajeshwar Goel apprised the Board of Directors that the face-lift work of the New Himrus building would be undertaken based on a state-of-the-art design. He said that the corporation had taken necessary steps to facilitate the transfer of land in the industrial estate, Davni. Regarding the Nalagarh area, the meeting was apprised that both commercial and residential plots would be developed as part of the corporation’s strategic expansion plans.
