Education Minister Rohit Thakur on Thursday attended the shant maha yagna at Jharag in the Jubbal subdivision. The maha yagna is being held from December 4-6, where lakhs of devotees will participate and seek the blessings of the deity. Congratulating everyone, the minister said the yagna was being held after 54 years.

The minister said the administration was fully prepared for the event, with teams of the police, fire brigade, water, electricity and all other departments present on the spot. Special buses had been arranged from Jubbal and Rohru. A special traffic plan was made to keep the traffic smooth, and people were urged to follow it, he added.
