Eight persons, including three women, were injured as a private bus rolled down the road on the banks of the Beas near Bahnu bridge in Manali on Friday. The bus (HP-68A-0259), carrying 12 passengers, was going from Manali to Pathankot when the driver lost control over the vehicle due to a probable mechanical snag.

It hit a parked Innova car before ramming over the crash barriers and falling about 10 feet down the road. The injured were rushed to the Manali hospital, from where an injured was referred to Kullu hospital.
