KULLU, JUNE 27

A 60-year old woman was brutally beaten to death by a person at Garsa village in Bhuntar subdivision of this district last night.

Shakuntla Devi used to live alone in her house at Garsa. Kullu SP Gurdev Sharma said there were severe injury marks on her face, forehead and neck. The police had taken the body in their custody and further investigations were underway. He said, “The exact cause of the death will be known only after the post-mortem.” A case has been registered.
