As part of the National Nutrition Month 2025, the third day’s theme-based activity focused on mainstreaming men’s participation in nutrition and child development.

District Programme Officer Mamta Paul highlighted that the objective is to encourage men, particularly fathers, to take an active role in family nutrition and child development.

Various programmes were organised at all 2,154 anganwadi centres in Shimla district to promote men’s involvement in nutrition and child development. The programmes emphasised the importance of shared responsibility between mothers and fathers in childcare and nutrition.
