Building engineers yesterday held a discussion regarding opening of a local chapter of the Indian Building Congress (IBC).

The meeting was organised at the headquarters of the Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department (HPPWD) here under the chairmanship of Ajay Gupta, Engineer-in-Chief, HPPWD. Indian Building Congress vice president Chinmay Debnath briefed the engineering fraternity about the activities being done by the organisation throughout the country and the help the IBC had been providing to construction engineers.

The meeting was attended by engineers and architects of the HPPWD.
