The Estimates Committee of the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha visited the Kerala Legislative Assembly during its nine-day study tour. During this period, the committee held a meeting with the officials of Kerala legislative assembly under the chairmanship of Rakesh Kalia. Duirng their meeting, Kalia and other members had a constructive discussion on the procedural aspects and functioning of the committee systems in both the states. The committee also interacted with the officials of the Kerala Legislative Assembly Secretariat and learnt about the transfer policy of the Government of Kerala. The visit is aimed at facilitating a meaningful exchange of ideas and best practices between the two states. The committee also apprised the Kerala Vidhan Sabha that the HP Vidhan Sabha at Tapovan in Dharamsala adopted the National e-Vidhan (NeVA) system on December 18, 2024, during the winter session of the Assembly.
