The Himachal Pradesh School of Board Education has postponed the exams in Lahaul and Spiti and the Pangi block in district Chamba. The decision has been taken as the road connectivity in these areas has been affected adversely due to heavy precipitation a few days back. The exams have been postponed for classes VIII to XII. The exams were scheduled to start from Tuesday – the Class X students were scheduled to appear for the Hindi exam while the Class XII students had economics exam. The exams falling between March 4 and March 8 have been postponed. On March 8, the Class XII students were scheduled to appear for the financial literacy exam. This exam too has been postponed. For the postponed exams, the board will issue a new date sheet in due course of time. In the rest of the state, the exams will be conducted as per the schedule.
