Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Maneesh Garg today said that the Election Commission of India (EC) has announced a complete ban on all types of exit poll on the voting day on July 10. He added that the ban on the exit polls would remain in force from 7 am to 6.30 pm on July 10.

He said during 48 hours before the voting ends, the display of the results of the opinion polls in the electronic media would also be banned.
