Chaudhary said the state government was committed to uplifting the youth and the weaker sections, as well as ensuring prosperity of farmers and protection of women. She said the Khushal Kisan Yojana was a boon for the women in rural areas.

The minister said effective schemes had been launched to enable the participation of women in social activities. She said due to effective measures taken by the state government, the Covid-19 pandemic had been curbed to a large extent in the state.

Chaudhary said Rs 9.47 lakh was spent on the construction of roads, grounds and sheds in Ansui. She added that under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Rs 1 crore was being spent on upgrading the road from Chadi to Jhikli Ansui and the work on the road was in progress. In addition, Rs 4.27 lakh would be spent on developmental works in Ansui, she said. — OC
