The Himachal Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation will be the authorised agency for the procurement of wheat from farmers for the year 2026-27, stated a press note quoting the District Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department here yesterday.

The farmers, interested in selling their wheat produce, could register themselves on the web portal https://hpappp.nic.in/. Once the department initiates the token allocation service, farmers could book their dates and time slots on the portal for the transportation of their produce to the collection centres.

The press note stated that the minimum support price (MSP) of wheat was Rs 2,585 per quintal, as fixed by the state government.
