Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Kangra, under Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV), Palampur, organised a live two-way streaming of the national event for the release of the 20th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme.

As part of the nationwide event, PM Narendra Modi digitally transferred Rs 20,500 crore directly to the bank accounts of over 9.7 crore farmers across the country. The event at KVK Kangra was attended by Dr Vinod Sharma, Director of Extension Education, CSKHPKV, as chief guest.
