Shimla, February 13

A Nepalese man and his son were electrocuted while fishing in Kotkhai tehsil of Shimla district. The deceased have been identified as Gorakh Bahadur Thapa (58) and his son Bhim Bahadur (32). Both were living at Pujali village and were working as a dailywagers. According to police, on Monday night, they had installed electric wires in Giri Khad to catch fish. Both were electrocuted while doing so and died on the spot. The bodies were located by locals here today who immediately informed the police. A team from Kotkhai police station reached the spot and pulled out the bodies. Superintendent of Police (SP) Shimla Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi said further investigation is on.
