Father-son duo killed over property dispute in Haroli

A father and son were killed in Bhadsali village over an ongoing land dispute. The deceased have been identified as Sanjeev Kumar (51) and his 26-year-old son Ravinder Kumar.The main accused, identified by eyewitnesses as Deepak Kumar, the village Nambardar and a practicing advocate at the Una district courts, is alleged to have opened fire after a brawl escalated. The dispute was reportedly over land between the two parties.
The incident occurred in broad daylight as both the victims and the accused were traveling in separate cars. The altercation turned violent, with the accused initially attacking the victims with sharp-edged weapons before drawing a gun and firing shots. After fleeing the scene, the accused left the victims, who were rushed to Una district hospital but succumbed to their injuries.

A police team, led by ASP Sanjeev Bhatia, arrived at the crime scene, sealed it for forensic evidence and sent the bodies for postmortem. Forensic experts from Dharamsala have been called to assist in collecting evidence, and a manhunt is underway to apprehend the accused.
