The second day of the 28th Revd Dr Samuel Slater Memorial Invitational Inter-School English Debates at Bishop Cotton School, Shimla, began on a solemn note with a service held at the school’s historic Trinity Chapel.

The day’s debating action opened with a riveting clash between host school Bishop Cotton and Auckland House School for Boys on the motion “All student loans need to be forgiven.” BCS, speaking for the motion, secured the win with a compelling argument, bolstered by an impressive performance from Aarav Wadaskar, who was named the “Best Speaker”.
