Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal has directed the District Youth Services and Sports Officer to coordinate with the relevant agency and finalise the design for a proposed indoor sports stadium, which would include a swimming pool, near the district headquarters promptly. He was presiding over the weekly review meeting held to assess the progress of various developmental projects and plans within the district.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasised the importance of swiftly finalising the swimming pool design to expedite the commencement of the project. He also instructed all officials concerned to expedite departmental processes related to the construction of additional sites for wet waste and construction waste management under the Chamba Municipal Council.

The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the ongoing construction work of the cow shelter at Manjir, issuing necessary directives to the officials.

A departmental officer informed the DC that the construction work would be completed in a month.

Repaswal also directed officials to ensure the prompt appointment of nodal officers of various departments to accelerate the land transfer process under the Forest Rights Act (FRA) for various departmental schemes.

He also instructed Assistant Commissioner PP Singh and the District Tourism Development Officer to take necessary steps to install hoardings, signboards and other signage in key areas of the district.

Other matters discussed included the Aapna Vidyalaya Scheme, construction progress of various AYUSH health centres, and issues related to the ongoing construction of the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College campus at Sarol.
