Nurpur, August 2
A 15-day fingerprint training camp is underway at the Nurpur district police headquarters. Nurpur SP Ashok Ratan inaugurated the camp, organised by the Himachal Pradesh Forensic Science (HPFC) Directorate, last evening.
The training is being conducted under the guidance of HPFC Director Minakshi Mahajan. At the workshop, 17 police personnel — trainees from Sakoh and Vangarh police training centres, and the Nurpur police district — were imparted training by fingerprint experts.
Ratan said the trainees would become fingerprint experts after undergoing the training.
