Fire at car showroom in Shimla
Shimla, February 8
Fire broke out at a Tata car showroom at the Tutikandi inter-state bus terminal (ISBT), causing an estimated loss of around Rs 1 crore.
However, no loss of life was reported in the incident, as no one was present at the car showroom.
The fire reportedly broke out in the showroom around 4.30 am yesterday and quickly spread.
Two vehicles, Tata Punch and Tata Tiago, along with several spare parts were gutted. Fire engines from The Mall, Boileauganj and Chotta Shimla were requisitioned and they doused the fire. SDM, Shimla (Urban), Bhanu Gupta said that the cause of fire was being ascertained.
