Five members of a family were taken ill after they consumed wild mushrooms at Thrimli village under the Khabalech Gram Panchayat in Mandi district last night.

They experienced severe symptoms throughout the night and were admitted to Kalhani Hospital in the morning with the assistance of the ‘108’ ambulance.

According to Dr Abhishek Sharma, while one person reported symptoms of nausea and diarrhoea, others complained of lethargy after consuming a dish made of wild mushrooms. Two patients were discharged from the hospital, while three children were referred to the Zonal Hospital, Mandi.
