Nahan, August 4
The birth anniversary of Dr Yashwant Singh Parmar, the founding father of Himachal Pradesh, was commemorated with great reverence at the Mall Road here. Rajeev Bindal, state president of the BJP, along with party members, paid floral tributes at Dr Parmar’s statue. “Had it not been for Parmar, there would have been no hill state of Himachal,” he said.
