Kullu, December 6

Four persons were arrested in separate incidents last evening and a total of 2.993 kg of charas was recovered from their possession.

Kullu SP Gaurav Singh said the Patlikul police arrested two persons at Badiseri, near Larankelo, and 1.398 kg of charas was recovered from their possession.

The accused have been identified as Himdutt (50) of Hirni village and Kuram Dutt (36) of Chetti village. They have been booked under Section 20 of the NDPS Act and Section 188 of the IPC.

In another incident, Roshan Lal (53), a resident of Bari village, was arrested with 700 gram of charas on the Katrain-Chhani link road.

Charas weighing 895 gram was recovered from Dev Raj (31) of Dobhi village at Banontar on the Left bank road. His vehicle was also impounded.

The police raided the house of Kashinath (56) at Sachani village in Bhuntar subdivision on Friday and 4.001 kg of charas and 5.356 kg of ganja was recovered.

The SP said dealer Mohan Lal (63) had been arrested under Section 29 of the NDPS Act.
