Four drug peddlers have been arrested with heroin and cannabis in separate cases in Shimla district, the police said today.

In the first case, Yashpal, a resident of Sanogi village in Kumarsain tehsil, was arrested with 43.06 grams of heroin.

In the second case, Bhupinder, alias Micky, a resident of Kaloti village in Chirgaon, was nabbed with 30.6 grams of heroin.

The police also nabbed Sohan Lal of Shaloa village in Mandi district with 1.5 grams of heroin in Shimla.

In the fourth incident, Bhim Bahadur, who worked as a labourer in an apple orchard in Sungri, was held with 118 grams of cannabis.

Shimla Superintendent of Police (SP) Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi said the accused had been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and further investigation was underway.
