Two staff members of Brookyln Hospital, Barotiwala—a technician and a receptionist—were declared COVID-19 positive taking the toll of COVID-19 cases to nine in this industrial cluster. Two more cases were reported of Tablighi Jamaati followers from Una district. The highest number of 14 cases are from Una district.

However, the two staff members were under quarantine in the hospital itself from where they were shifted to the nearby ESIC Hospital at Katha where all COVID-19 patients were recuperating, confirmed the health officials.

Five people, who were staying at the guest house of Steel Bird Helment company at Jharmajri near this hospital, had taken treatment at this hospital. All five were declared COVID-19 positive and this includes a woman who had died at the PGI Chandigarh on April 3.
