In the higher reaches of Sirmaur district, the minimum temperature was -4°C and the maximum 6°C today. The minimum temperature in district headquarters, Nahan, was 10°C and the maximum 16°C. Along with this, the minimum temperature in the industrial areas of Kala Amb and Paonta Sahib was recorded at 11°C and the maximum 18°C.

While the snowfall disrupted daily life for some causing road closures and power outages in certain areas, it was met with joy by many residents, particularly farmers and apple growers.
