Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri yesterday said that the state government was serious about completing the bulk drug park in Una but the pending environment clearance from the Central Government was hampering work.

Agnihotri said, “Union Minister JP Nadda has raised a question mark on the state government regarding the progress of the work on the bulk drug park. He was probably not briefed properly. The state government has done substantial work on the ground and has floated tenders worth Rs 450 crore, but the environment clearance from the Centre is pending.”

He said that Nadda should use his “good office” to get environment clearance for the project.
