Girl fails in Class XII exams again, ‘kills’ self by jumping off bridge near Shimla

A Class XII student has allegedly committed suicide by jumping off a bridge in Shimla after she failed in her board exams second time in a row.

The deceased, a native of Sirmour district, lived with her parents in a rented house in Shimla.

She allegedly jumped from the bridge near Badagaon village on Mehli-Shoghi bypass road.

Police have registered a case.

Himachal board declared its Class XII result on Saturday.
