The Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS), Shimla, on Thursday organised a lecture on “Good Governance and Ethics”, delivered by Prof Brijendra Pandey as part of Vigilance Awareness Week.

He said the Central Vigilance Commission employed various strategies for the effective implementation of its mandate to combat corruption.

One of the key initiatives in this regard was the Vigilance Awareness Week, aimed at raising awareness and ensuring a collective commitment to maintaining integrity in public administration, he added.

The event witnessed the participation of national scholars, faculty members, associates and institute staff.

The programme was conducted by Dr Priyanka Vaidya, a fellow at IIAS.
