Governor Bandaru Dattatreya today paid floral tributes to former President S Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary.

On the occasion, the Governor greeted the teaching fraternity and said the Covid outbreak had hit the education system hard. Schools, colleges and universities continued to remain shut across the globe.

The Governor said although online learning had become a part of their routine, the relationship between a teacher and a student was not limited to merely imparting instructions or taking exams. It was an emotional and psychological bond, he added.

“I believe that until

students do not feel reverence for their teachers, they cannot learn anything,” said Dattatreya.
