Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla visited Shri Badrika Ashram at Shalamu village in Rajgarh subdivision of Sirmaur district yesterday. The Governor, accompanied by Lady Governor Janaki Shukla, their daughter Neeti, son-in-law Amit Tripathi and granddaughters Kumari Ambika and Anika Badrika, offered prayers at Shri Hari Temple.

The Governor engaged in spiritual discussions with the ashram’s founder, Om Swami, who warmly welcomed him and presented him with a traditional Himachali shawl and cap. The Governor expressed keen interest in the ashram’s spiritual, yogic and meditation practices. Om Swami shared valuable insights into the ashram’s initiatives, which focus on promoting spirituality and holistic well-being.

The event was also attended by several key officials, including ashram administrator Sadhvi Shraddha Om, trustee Rajeev Mittal, Solan Deputy Commissioner Manmohan Sharma, Acting Deputy Commissioner, Sirmaur, LR Verma, Sirmaur SP Nishchint Negi and Solan SP Gaurav Singh.
