Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla presided over the closing ceremony of the state-level Shoolini Fair at Solan on Sunday evening. Lady Governor Janaki Shukla also graced the occasion. The Governor congratulated the district administration and the Shoolini Fair Committee for the successful organisation of the event.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr (Col) Dhani Ram Shandil honoured the Governor during the event. Earlier, the Governor visited the historic Durga temple in Ganj Bazaar and offered prayers, wishing the people of the state a happy and healthy life.

The Governor also pinned badges on the new lifetime members of the Solan Red Cross Society. He felicitated artist Vineet Kashyap, a first-year student of Government College Solan, for designing the fair’s invitation card and publications. Jyotishacharya Devendra Verma was also honoured.
