Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar arrived here today on a two-day visit to Kangra district.

He paid obeisance and offered prayers at the Nagarkot Dham Mata Brijeshwari Temple.

The Governor prayed for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the people of the state. He said the temple was the main centre of faith and belief for the people.

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Nipun Jindal, SP Kushal Sharma and Vice-Chancellor of Central University Professor SP Bansal welcomed the Governor on his arrival in the city. — TNS
